Dear John,
The topic of the April meeting will be the Northside Constable Patrol.  We are looking for volunteers to help hand out information.

See you there at 7 pm at E 23rd and Main at the Brethren Church.

Do you have information about your home (photos new or old, previous or original owner information, previous uses for structure, interesting architecture detail)?  As part of the history project for the neighborhood we would like to profile different types of houses.  Do you have information about Bungalows, Four Square, Post Modern, New Orleans, Queen Anne, or other styles of homes in Sunset Heights?  If so please pass on the information.

Sunset Heights has a group on Facebook now.

If you would like to contribute news or stories for the newsletter, please send a note to .

Crime
The Citizen Patrol logged 84 hours for March.  We are always accepting new volunteers for this HPD program.  After training by HPD and a background check by HPD you can patrol the neighborhood looking for suspicious activity.  For more information or to sign up please contact . The civic club is also recruiting residents to join the Northside Constable Patrol Program sponsored by HHA.  The boundaries of the north side patrol area are 610 north, Durham west, Airline east and 20th south. Information has been handed out to residents in the sections of both Sunset and East Sunset Heights.  We need help in contacting businesses and distributing information between Durham and Yale.  The Houston Heights Association will have the Constables at their May 10th general meeting so if you have questions about the program then this is an excellent meeting to attend.  The meeting is at 12th and Yale at the old Heights Firehouse.  Here is a link to statistics regarding the existing Heights Constable Patrols:
